Founded in 2012 the International Sea Kayak Guide Alliance is the first professional guiding organisation to operate on a global level. It is a modular system which has been developed to meet the needs of the professional sea kayak guide, who may be operating in remote wilderness environments.

The ISKGA program was created by Jeff Allen. In collaboration with industry experts such as the RNLI, Royal Marines, Wilderness Medicine, Doctors and Paramedics and Sea Survival Trainers it was further developed to become the worlds No1 professional training standard.
