SEA SURVIVAL
Advanced Expedition Team Member Module
The ISKGA Sea Survival module, inspired by a seminar with sea survival experts at the RNLI College, tackles some of the misunderstandings and potential inadequacies of standard sea kayaking equipment and techniques presently taught by NGB’s.
Jeff Allen‘s participation in the RNLI program highlighted critical issues, leading to the development of this module. It offers short, medium, and long-term survival strategies specifically aimed at sea kayakers. Advanced by the RNLI & the Norwegian Sea Rescue Society, this module is a critical resource for sea kayakers worldwide, offering practical strategies and insights to enhance safety and preparedness in ocean environments or other large expanses of water.
This course is also aimed at paddlers who do not want to become guides, but use this training to improve their personal skills and become competent team members!
